Changes to Company Details
The information in your company’s constitution and register should reflect the official information ASIC has on record for your company. Should that information change you need to update ASIC and also your register with the relevant changes.
You can advise ASIC of a change in advance, but if a change in your company has already occurred you must inform ASIC within 28 days from the date of the change.
Should you wish to notify them of a change after 28 days, you will be issued a penalty fee.
Common company detail changes may include:
Registered office address, principal place of business address, company officeholder’s residential address, proprietary company member’s (shareholder) residential address, residential address of a director, etc.
Shelcom’s service includes:
- Preparation of all necessary paperwork on your behalf;
- Email delivery and/or shipment of completed documents to you;
- Lodgement of the correct forms with ASIC;
- Email delivery and/or shipment of all relevant registry documents – Minutes/resolutions, share certificates, transfer journals and consents (if required).
If the company was not set up by Shelcom we do charge an establishment fee of $120 in addition to the change fee. The first two people/entities are included in the fees however every additional person/entity will be charged at $60 each.
